This week, we returned from Shenzhen, China, where we successfully completed the acceptance test of our new 100 V battery. During this trip, we also visited the production line of Great Power, one of the biggest lithium battery manufacturers. The scale and competence of Chinese clean tech are stunning.
China dominates the world’s clean tech industry. But Chinese companies have nothing like the Gen 3 PowerBloc®, and our partners were in awe of its sophistication.
The Gen 3 is a quantum leap over our Gen 2 system, which we started installing in 2021. New key features include the plug-and-play backplane, the 100 V battery, and the 100 A inverter. The Gen 3 system has hundreds of other improvements in performance and ease of installation.
