Craft beer is excellent. Handmade sweaters are cozy. And coffee roasted in small batches is lovely.

But only mass production can deliver the Two Buck Act: A 2-inch display with millions of colors and 240 x 320 pixels for just two dollars!

With a micro-processor for an additional dollar, you can display any information you wish in any color you desire.

So, we recently decided to eliminate nearly all LED indicators on our modules and to consolidate the information on a display.

We all agreed the display was a great idea because it simplifies our front panels, allows us to display more information, and saves money. The question then is what information to show and how to display it intuitively and appealingly.

We are determined to make the design and information of the display a functional element. It cannot be an afterthought. No, it has to be perfect.

And perfection is attained not when there is nothing more to add but when there is nothing more to remove.

We are still working on the new display designs, but I hope you like where we are headed.
