The PowerBloc is the first practical utility replacement. It delivers 100 A of AC at 240 V, which is 24kW. In addition, it is ready to deliver Direct Current (DC) for EVs and the modern all-electric home.

The PowerBloc uses a parallel HVDC architecture that is highly efficient and scales easily. It supplies DC or Any AC, even on the same system.

Our panel-level DC-DC micro-converters are a key element of our technology, allowing us unprecedented flexibility in solar array design. Our batteries, power electronics, and cabinet are modular for easy installation anywhere. Installing the PowerBloc is plug-and-play.

We will offer DC-DC EV charging, a first, this fall. The EV will charge directly from the PowerBloc’s High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) bus without the unnecessary DC-AC-DC conversion of Level 2 chargers.

Excitingly, the first request for LED lighting power directly from DC and using Power Over Ethernet (POE) just landed on our desk. The all-electric home is going DC!

As a high-power and deep storage system on the ”edge” of the power grid, the PowerBloc also shows the path to sustainable and resilient power infrastructure because it is cheaper and more efficient than using only a central grid, especially as more renewable energy must come online.
