If you want a high-performance solar-battery system that is compact, lightweight, and powerful, you need to move to high voltage. Just like you won’t go far playing the Formula 1 racing game “F1 2022” on an Intel 80286 processor (introduced to computing in 1982).

Solar panels have a useful life of at least 25 years, and many are going to last much longer. Some panels never see their golden years, though: they are smashed by hail, trees, or coconuts. As the solar industry explodes, tens and then hundreds of millions of solar panels will be out of service each year in the not so distant future.

The PowerBloc can deliver 24 kW to over 200 kW of power. The modular, parallel DC architecture enables plug-and-play expansion with automatic self-configuration of new modules. Power is available as AC single-phase (120/240 Volt) and three-phase (208 Volt or 480 Volt), or even DC (380 Volt or 600 Volt). The PowerBloc can provide universal power which a utility cannot provide. Solar input can scale to 50 kW and more. And with 45 to 450 kWh of energy storage, lights never go out.
