YouSolar’s PowerBloc® now comes with vehicle-to-home charging.

There are currently very few vehicles that that can serve power out of their charge port (“bi-directional charging”), and no standard has emerged yet. However, many EVs already have  a 120 V outlet for tailgating or for charging tools. By plugging a simple cable coming from the PowerBloc into this outlet, our customers can turn their vehicle into a backup battery for their home.

Traditionally, those who are conscious about energy resilience have opted for a generator as emergency backup. A generator needs fuel, maintenance and space, and it causes noise and pollution.

With vehicle-to-home charging, our customers now have a clean emergency energy source in their driveway.
